Seven people from our group spent two days hiking in the mountains around Dalat.
At the high mountain altitude, the climate is a lot cooler than Saigon. Some of the plants are evergreens, which can make it feel like New England until you look down at the red clay ground and over at the copious amounts of bamboo.
Our hike gave us an incredible view of the area around us and down onto the town of Dalat.

General note: One of the hazards of Vietnam is from time to time one can eat street food that is highly questionable. I spent a large portion of last week doubled over from shady street food. Now that I am recovered, I will make a renewed effort with my blogging.
Glad to see you are back to your blogging !
ReplyDeleteStay a way from questionable street food !!
